Boycott Tesla to Break Elon Musk's Power

Elon Musk is the richest person in the world, and he's using his immense wealth to buy control of our government! He is now attacking all federal regulation of his businesses, and is funneling OUR taxpayer money to his companies while cutting basic services that millions of people rely on.

But he has a weakness: 60% of Elon Musk's net worth is in Tesla stock, and he has enormous loans leveraged against his stock value.

We can break Elon's power in DC by bringing down the Tesla stock price and driving him into debt!

We will keep up the picket until these demands are met:

1. Elon must stop his attacks on the federal government. The thousands of federal workers he fired must be rehired, and the inspectors investigating his businesses must be reinstated.
2. DOGE must be shut down and the private data they've stolen must be destroyed.
3. Tesla shareholders must remove Elon Musk as CEO before he destroys the company.

Elon and DOGE’s Power Grab in DC: How it Affects You

DOGE: an attack on the federal government

• Elon spent $290 million to support Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
• His reward: a presidential executive order to create DOGE (the "Department" of Government Efficiency), which he is using to cut government services for regular people and to funnel money to his businesses.
• DOGE is made up of right-wing amateur coders with shady histories, who have NOT had any background checks or security approval to access these systems.

Elon and DOGE are wrecking federal agencies

Elon and DOGE have illegally slashed budgets and froze funding to federal agencies, and are trying to fire over 200,000 federal workers, causing chaos across the country:

• FAA (Federal Aviation Administration): Hundreds of FAA staff have been fired, making airline crashes more likely.
• CDC (Center for Disease Control): The Bird Flu epidemic is causing meat and egg prices to skyrocket, but Elon fired over 1300 CDC scientists and staff.
• NIH (National Institute of Health): Massive funding cuts are slowing down research on cancer treatments and many other medical advances.
• NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration): Basic weather forcasting and severe weather monitoring (like hurricane tracking) is getting defunded.
• NPS (National Park Service): Huge cuts severely affect wildfire monitoring and maintenance of our national parks.
• NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration): Nuclear weapons managers were fired with no notice, causing an unimaginable national security crisis.
• IRS (Internal Revenue Service): With many fewer IRS auditors, the ultra-wealthy will have an even easier time cheating on their taxes this year.
• USAID (US Agency for International Development): USAID provides food and medicine to the poorest people in the world; the department has been almost completely paralyzed for months, leading to mass outbreaks of disease and worsening famine.

Elon and DOGE are trying to get access to YOUR data

• Elon and DOGE are trying to illegally get access to the social security numbers and tax information of all Americans.
• DOGE transfers data (illegally!) through insecure methods, putting your data at major risk of leaks and hacks.

Elon and DOGE are disarming federal regulation of his businesses.

At least 11 federal agencies are currently investigating or are in regulatory battles with Elon and his companies.

Elon and DOGE claim to be cutting excess spending in DC. But by mass-firing staff at these agencies, Elon can continue to manipulate markets, build exploding rockets and exploding cars, and abuse workers without any penalty.

Elon Musk is Not a Genius

But he IS a Ruthless Right-Wing Businessperson and a Twitter Addict

Elon did NOT invent the electric car, the Falcon rocket, or anything else (and he knows it)

• Elon did NOT invent the electric car. He invested in and then took over Tesla from the two engineers who actually started the company. Years later, he sued to get the title of "company founder".
• Elon has apparently never invented anything, but publicly he gets credit for everything from electric cars and rocket engines to cryptocurrency and brain-computer implants.
• Elon does not have an engineering degree. He quit his engineering PhD program after just 2 days (maybe because it was too hard for him!) but he used his student visa to allegedly illegally work in the US, as his own brother has admitted.
• He gives himself titles like "Chief Engineer" at his companies, but there is no evidence he does any real engineering work besides telling actual engineers what he wants them to build. He's a rich person with a lot of ideas, but he's no engineering genius.

Elon is a Bad Boss.

• Elon fires Tesla employees who raise legitimate safety concerns, and has sued whistleblowers.
• Tesla has a toxic work culture rampant with verbal abuse, and workers who protest are fired.
• After buying Twitter, Elon quickly fired 80% of the staff.

Elon Supports the Far-Right.

• Elon infamously gave a Nazi salute at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
• Elon spoke at a rally to support the AfD, a neo-Nazi party in Germany in January 2025. Tesla sales in Europe have dropped dramatically in response.
• Elon remade Twitter/X into a right wing space, and drastically reduced content moderation worldwide.

Elon Musk: Unhinged by Substance Abuse? A Twitter Addict?

• Leaders at Tesla and SpaceX worry that Elon's volatile behavior and (allegedly) frequent drug use will eventually drive his companies into the ground.
• He is addicted to Twitter/X, posting at all hours of the day and up to 200 times a day.

Elon is a Deadbeat Dad that Doesn't Want To Pay Child Support

• Elon's own father, Errol Musk, said Elon is a bad dad.
• Elon's own daughter has cut off all contact with him for mistreating her.
• Elon has at least 14 children with at least 5 women, and is currently in multiple custody battles.
• Despite being the wealthiest person in the world, he is fighting court battles to limit his child support payments.

Tesla Sales Dropping Worldwide

While total US EV sales increased from 2023 to 2024, Tesla sales actually decreased in 2024 for the first time ever, and are dropping even faster in 2025.

Resale Prices of Used Teslas Dropping Faster than All Competitors

To compensate for the drop in sales, Tesla has had to cut the price on new vehicles. This has caused the resale value of used Teslas to drop drastically (up to 25%!!!), making them a bad longterm investment.

Many attribute this to Tesla CEO Elon Musk's outrageous (and sometimes creepy) public behavior, his support of the political far-right, and his attacks on the federal government.

Many Tesla owners are now selling their vehicles or adding bumper stickers to protest Elon.

A movement of Tesla shareholders is building to fire Elon as CEO, which may be the only way to rescue the company from the self-destructive path he's set it on.

Tesla Vehicles Are More Dangerous Than You Think

The Data Is Clear: Tesla Vehicles Have Twice The National Average Fatality Rate

• Despite boasting 5-star crash safety ratings, new studies show that Tesla vehicles had the highest fatalities-per-mile rate of any car brand in 2018-2022 and the highest accident rate in 2023 and 2024.
• This may be due in part to Tesla's driver assistance systems, which have been involved in hundreds of car crashes and at least 51 reported deaths between drivers, passengers and pedestrians. Tesla is currently under federal investigation over the safety of these systems, which Elon has been hyping for a decade.
• Tesla fires are linked to at least 83 reported deaths. The electric door handles can malfunction during a fire, trapping passengers inside.
• The Tesla Cybertruck is 17 times more likely to cause a fire fatality than the previous record holder, the 1970’s Ford Pinto.

Poor Reliability and Bad Customer Service

• Tesla was rated 17th out of 22 car manufacturers for vehicle reliability in 2024.
• Teslas have long repair wait times and are more expensive to repair.
• Tesla has more vehicle recalls than any other US car company, possibly due to rushed production schedules. On Feb.21, 2025, another 375,000 Teslas were recalled for faulty power steering!

Tesla Factories: Rampant Worker Abuse

• Tesla leads the auto industry in OSHA safety violations, including many reports of workers collapsing from exhaustion.
• Tesla’s Fremont, California, plant had three times as many OSHA safety violations as 10 other US car factories combined.
• Tesla fires employees who raise legitimate product safety concerns, and has sued whistleblowers.
